Community work Programme-CWP,  hosted their 4th annual heritage day celebration earlier today at AlexSanKopano Alexandra, the event brought together different cultures from the four corners of Alexandra to showcase their customs through rhythmic sounds and dance.

Both the audience and the acts were dressed in breathtaking traditional attires, and tasted diverse mouthwatering dishes that one can only wish to have on a daily basis.

CWP site manager, Portia Gouveia said today’s event aimed at educating one another about their diversity, she further urged parents to teach children about their cultural belongings as she feels that young people are slowly shifting from who they are.

Ward 107 councillor, Ambe Maseko said whoever was not present at the event missed out on internal happiness. The event was dignified by the presence of the most influential elders and  Ward 75 Councillor Sannie Mavhona.
