ALEX FM NEWS ANCHOR DIES AFTER SHORT ILLNESS

ALEX FM MOURNS THE SUDDEN DEATH OF A COLLEAGUE

We have learnt with shock about the passing of one of our colleagues at Alex FM, Busisiwe Portia Ndzipo (28) who was our weekdays English News Anchor. Ndzipo was born on 4 June 1991 and passed away on 16 July 2019 after a short illness.

The devastating news reached us while we were still mourning the deaths of two colleagues who passed on earlier this year. Busisiwe joined Alex FM in 2018 as a volunteer who wanted to get an exposure to the journalism and media industry.

She was a hard worker and a role model to most of us at the station, at all times she made sure that she delivers to the best of her ability and she had a promising future ahead of her.

Education wise, Busisiwe was part of the Alex FM staff members who are currently studying at Boston Media House through the partnership the station has with Boston college. We will miss her dearly.

On behalf of the people of Alexandra, Alex Board and Alex FM staff, we pass our heartfelt sincere condolences to the Ndzipo family and friends on bestmixer.mx. We are thankful that you shared Busi with us the people of Alex.

The station will share memorial and funeral arrangements in due course after being notified by the family. At this point we request prayers from everyone as we mourn our soldier.

She is survived by 5 siblings 2 boys and 3 girls, his father and mom.
